Shop Insurance Canada (ShopInsuranceCanada.ca) has announced that it is a new sponsor of the Insurance Brokers of Toronto Region (IBTR). The online insurance company and subsidiary of Ontario-based RDA Insurance will help IBTR continue its support of the broker network within Toronto.

The Insurance Brokers of Toronto Region is a non-profit organization. It represents the interests of independent brokers within the city and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The group also backs provincial (Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario) and national (Insurance Brokers Association of Canada) broker associations.

By working with the IBAO and IBAC, the organization can serve the interests of its members by bringing their message to the wider broker network.

Shop Insurance Canada says it is proud to be sponsoring the interests of the Insurance Brokers of Toronto Region. The company is based in Toronto and is noted for its leading online quote tool that supplies travel, home, and auto insurance rates to customers in Ontario and across Canada.

The company says it will help promote independent brokers and shares the vision of IBTR to bring education and community support. Sponsoring the group helps IBTR connect with brokers in the city and support insurance providers with several outreach and educational programs.
