Shop Insurance Canada, a subsidiary of RDA Insurance, was announced as a member of the Brighton – Cramahe Chamber of Commerce recently. Over a recent expansion through 2017, the online insurance company has joined the Ontario, Canada, Angus & Area, and Vaughan Chambers of Commerce.
A digital provider, Shop Insurance Canada is known for its quote engine, which provides customers with auto and home insurance quotes from over 30 of the country’s leading carriers. The RDA subsidiary is not affiliated with any insurance company, so is able to offer impartial coverage to its customers.
In a release, the company says it is pleased to help the Brighton – Cramahe Chamber to support the business environment in the region:
“Shop Insurance Canada is delighted to be a member of the chamber and to help promote business in the Municipality of Brighton and The Township of Cramahe. We share the non-profit’s mission to support business collaboration and economic development in the district.”
Among the Chamber’s efforts include enhancing business operations in the region. It achieves this by lobbying governments for legislation, information, and trade opportunities. Like all other members in the Chamber, Shop Insurance Canada is also a member of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
As well as joining the Ontario and Canadian chambers, Shop Insurance Canada has had a busy year of integrating with local business communities. The company joined the Angus Chamber of Commerce. In February 2017, the online insurer announced its membership with the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.
Additionally, the company was delighted to announce it had become a member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Hamilton (IBAH) in October, 2017.
RDA Insurance and Shop Insurance Canada were recently recipients of a CSIO award as a Technology Leader. Each year, the CSIO announces its Technology Leaders. These are insurance companies and outlets that have achieved a score of 100% on the CSIO Technology Scorecard.
